Not only have I built a successful career, but I have also raised my four children right here in San Juan County, and now all of my grandchildren are growing up in the same community. Travis Wood

My passion for building started early. My dad was a talented woodworker with exceptional craftsmanship, and that creativity and work ethic were passed down to me. I’ve always enjoyed creating something solid, useful, and well-built.

I spent five years traveling the world building ski lifts, an experience that refined my technical skills and gave me hands-on exposure to large-scale construction. When I settled in San Juan County, I committed fully to the construction field and began leading renovation and improvement projects, working closely with qualified subcontractors to deliver quality work from start to finish.

I’m especially drawn to unique builds — container homes, small homes, and efficient designs that make the most of every square foot. I’m currently being mentored by Tommy King, whose 30+ years of local experience continue to guide my growth as a builder.
